UNscrew that bracket that you show, off the pump rod. The pumprod comes out the top of the head. Take off the top cover of the mill. You can see where the pumprod comes up. Here too. I've seen wheels that had welded ends on them to adapt to other mills. Luckily, H/A mills spin CW like Aermotors.

A farmer customer made his own from a aired up tire, long 2x4, and a hinge on the tankside. When the tire went up, the 2x4 pivoted on the tank, and the end went down to pull the lever. Had them on most of his mills. I sure felt sorry for those brakes.

Not positive. Strictly Woodmanse did have CCW wheels. Not sure about it after they bought out Stover.

OKay, just remember these things can kill. I read of a guy one time where he fell off, and wound up with a fence post through him.

Guessing around 75 pounds. Don't know Canadian measurements. But it's bulky, difficult to handle. I would not do it without another helping.

On Monitor Hambone, or WB mills, the wheel is a 4 section wheel, for a 6.5 foot mill. 4 bolts on the front of the hub, 4 bolts on the rear of the hub. With 2 people, take out all 8 while someone steadies the wheel. Then you can move/bend an arm to get them out of the way for removal. It's easier to ...
