Re: Greetings from western Virginia
From what I can tell from the pic is the 702 looks to be in good condition. I really like the old pedistal pump is still hooked up very original. Like the guys said a oil change wouldn't hurt and a little grease on the upper and lower furl system. Keep us posted. Thanks Dan!!!

Re: Not sure on model but would like to try to save
Did some research and apparently Mr.Axtel started selling his windmills under the Flint and Walling name until around 1905 . I would venture to say that's a rare windmill. Nice Find !!!

Me and my brother went and picked this up today cause I was looking for one with a rear belt pulley to run my corn sheller and grinder and my buzz saw.

Re: Another 602 rebuild
If you say the saddle bearing is still good you took out of the other mill i guess you could try some JB Weld to hold it in place just a skim coat. Your pitmans you can use bushings as some do on the forum. Snout bearing should be repoured. Good luck with everything.

Re: A602 Rebuild Project
Went to visit Tim today to look over what he had for parts to complete his mill. Had a good time and while there he took me to check this really cool Aermoter with a wood water tank. Pretty Cool !!
