Re: Don’s Windmills
Yes I am very familiar with midland as that was all I ever used. It must have been the Spring of 22 as all the widgets went off the shelves and people looked at each other and said we need to make some more. Preferred Pump nor Aermotor had. Winpump doesn't wholesale so normally don't get from them. ...

Re: Don’s Windmills
It was either last Spring or the Spring before that.I was ever on that side and and went through the cylinders.I had on the truck. None of the wholesale pump houses had any cylinders in stock but Winpump had them. They were in white boxes, clearly labeled Midco and a standard 442 cylinder. One of th...

Re: Aermotor - New vs Refurbished
What most consider the classic 702 or Chicago era built Aermotors of 30s, 40s and 50s have the open style hub, hot dipped riveted wheel and matching style spokes. Refurbished may or may not have the open style hub. If refurbished have new spokes, wheel, bone and vane, they will vary from the origina...

Re: What model Areomotor it or parts available
702 model. Most likely A or 8' size. You can verify on the other side of the cast case from where Aermotor is located. That mill and tower was heavily rust pitted before being painted with a brush. To straighten properly, a lot of it would need to be disassembled. The paint and rust will make disass...

Re: Don’s Windmills
The daughter and son of Dean Bennett retired and sold the biz now almost ten years ago to Denver Winpump. Denver Winpump has a better managerial style than the Bennetts had. Also, John, a long time DB employee, is there at Denver Winpump. He probably has the best windmill retail background out there...

Re: New to site
I thought I knew when I purchased those elevators based on needing them for a job. I bought them in 2010 and Bob Bracher was still at the helm. Take a guess what they cost in 2010? Your fiberglass rod is very strong.. We had 5/8 rod on a 400 foot set that had silt problems. The first 2 times the plu...

Any idea who manufractured these rod elevators? I tried to locate but couldn't find anything. I bought them about 15 years ago. They work on 5/8 and 3/4 glass rod and also airtight. And some Dutch rancher regular pipe rod...

Re: Windmill automatic float system shut off
Do a forum search under "aermotor regulator info". It gives a generoll application and use. I think someone had posted a parts list of the aermotor regulator but it wasn't me
