Re: Wanted at Tradefair
Looking for the following for a 8 foot Flint & Walling Star 37:
Set of spokes ( 5 ea.)
Pullout winch
Could also use a better bonnet than the one I have.
Thanks in advance,
Jim

Anchor posts specifications
This is my first time at putting together a windmill tower and am in need of anchor posts to fit my 8' F&W Star 37. Can anyone provide me with the recommended dimensions so I can fabricate my own (or a good source for some already manufactured ones). The tower is 21' tall with 2" angle. I n...

Re: Question
I appears to be 1-3/4" although it mic's out at about 1.762" to 1.765" across the flats. It won't quite fit into my 1-3/4" socket. It's too big by only a couple of mils.
Hope this helps.

Re: Question
Jerry,
Assuming this is the one you're asking about, it mic's out at 1.465 o.d. (at the threads) and 12 threads per inch.
This one is off my B602.

Re: 40ft Tower
Jerry,
Did you get this tower? It's apparently changed location from the first image.
Happy Easter and best regards.

Anyone knowledgeable about Flint & Walling Star 37 windmill production?
It appears there were four versions (modifications?) of the F&W Star 37 during its life time. For the 8’ mill there were series 81, 82, 83, and 84. Anyone have any info on what the differences of each of these would have been, along with dates of manufacture, quantity of each, etc. I’d like to p...
