here is a parts list for a Hambone. If it's too small let me know. You should be able to blow it up I think.
Here is a Dempster pullout tube. very similar to a Hambone one. Measurements are different though.

the chain hooks to the tail hook, and the other end goes around the pulleys down the neckpipe. Inside there, it hooks to a pullout tube. Not sure about that. If the lever is mounted on the inside of the tower leg, it should automatically go over -center when you pull down. We usually put a wire ring around the leg to slide up over the handle anyway to hold it.

For 6 or 8 ft mills, I usually make them 2 ft or so. Give or take.

We have pulled them before using the crosshead tie IF, IF the setscrews are tight, and they are threaded into the case properly.
