Re: The Corcoran Windmill is here

Wayne, your more than welcome to come here and take a look. I've got plenty room you can stay over night, and the beer(or Irish whisky) is on me.

Tail bone ID

Anyone know what model Flint & Walling mill this belongs to? It looks identical to my 8-foot Star 37 but is 9'-7.5" long. It has what appears to be a pullout arm wired to it.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: The Corcoran Windmill is here

Les,
As much as I would like to restore it and put it up in my den, my plan is for the mill find a home at the American Windmill Museum in Lubbock. It needs to be on exhibit so everyone can see it, including the next generations of my family.

The Corcoran Windmill is here

It wouldn’t have been found without the exceptional help of Dan Therrien (windcatcher530dan). I owe him much gratitude for his efforts. It was in Cape Vincent, NY. It’s a ...

Monitor V storm-stay

I'm in need of a usable storm-stay/spider for a Baker Monitor V three legged tower. This is the only missing piece preventing me from finishing the tower. Thanks in advance for any help.

Windy,
I did contact Bob but he doesn't have any either. He said he's never had any in his shop.

Re: Baker WB on a three post tower.

Steve, Thanks for the images. I'm most likely going to have to handcraft something similar. However, my three post Baker tower has 90° angle iron legs. The 1945 Baker catalog in the literature and documentation section on this site specifically shows a part number T-1-0X for a 3 post tower plate. I'...
