Wayne, yes that was me who responded to the post. I'm thinking I posted a link to the article back then on the old forum.

Thanks everyone. John did the big majority of the work. He loves having this piece of windmill history up in his yard. Still some work to do on it but that will likely wait till spring unless we have some warmer weather to work in.

I have a short video of the tower tilting up and down. Gotta figure out how to compress the file on my tablet.

Just been busy Windybob. I've checked in a few times in the last few months. Still working on windmills with John. I need to ge started on my monitor L. Glad someone missed me.

The first two pictures look like a bobtailed Raymond. Was the guy who posted this from Australia? I remember this thread from Smokstack. Used to spend quite a bit of time on there. Farm and industrial antiques forum.

This tower and mill is John Durdle' s. He has had it the tower for about ten years. He worked his tail off getting things ready to stand it up.
