Re: 14' Eclipse

I have always liked the bigger mills. As far as big iron i have repaired and installed several 12',14' & 16' aermotors. But i was wondering on the back of the weight arm their is some roman numerals stamped. Does anyone know what these were for?

14' Eclipse

My first antique mill restoration. I've always wanted to restore one of these. But have never been able to locate one until recently so many were scrapped during ww2 in our area.

Thank you for allowing me to be on the forum. I visted with a old friend Paul Cowley recently and he encouraged me to join. It is great to have all the shared knowledge/experience on solving problems when it comes to restoring these old mills. I look forward to getting to know you. Thanks JLM
