Dempster

Have a part you can't identify? Did your parts get mixed up in the shop? Curious if that chunk of metal is a part you should keep? Not sure what kind of windmill or tower you have? Post photos of the mystery object here for the community to help identify.

I don't know the model,but it looks like an open gear.

Tail lettering says it's a No 8. Can't really see the gearbox to confirm, but I would say it's likely an 8.

That's is a great picture. Thanks. Does that say Starvent New Mexico? My map doesn't show a Starvent but that doesn't mean that wasn't one at sometime. :D

Looks like it says "Government Starveout" to me. Would our government have done something like that?!

Government for the Indians on a reservation maybe. I know New Mexico has or did have a lot of 20 ft Aeromoters.
