Very interesting Jerry. Thank you for posting.
Did the mill ever make it to the list of historic places?

Very nice Jerry, need that at the intersection of 64 and 80!

Yes it is on the Historical Register. I have a poster of it hanging on my wall. I have in my mind that Jim Collum has done work on it at times.

Wayne are there any more posters i would like to have one. Thanks Dan
Re: Canon Ranch, Texas Railroad Eclipse Windmill Link
Dan I've had that poster for years. Don't have a clue where or when I bought it. It say on the poster the picture was taken by Billie Wolfe. Might try and google her. I bet I bought it at some State Park here in Texas that sold souvenirs. There is a Texas web site that sales all kinds of stuff might be there.

Billie Wolfe was a professor at Texas Tech University. She was instrumental along with Coy Harris in creating the American Windmill Museum. You might try contacting Tanya Meadows at the museum. Good chance she can help you.

I thought that name rang a bell but couldn't place it. The museum might have been where I bought the poster now that I think about it. They have the website with the store listed. Might be in the store still.
