Who was able to attend the work week? How did it go? Share some pics if you have them.

Man, things went in the toilet here. Was going to go, but lost the engine on the mill truck. So, of course, first things first. This is the first year someone from Ames didn't make it.
Call Dan Benjamin for parts. P M me for the phone number.

Aww...damn. :( Hope the engine repair isn't deadly expensive!

Naw. Just time consuming, and of course, happened at a lousy time. Could be worse. Could have a wiring issue. lol

Ruby and I were at work week. We worked on the 18ft RR Eclipse after the wind tore it apart in March of this year.

Doug and crew took the head down and took the wheel apart. New rims with some new sails. Repaint the wheel and tails also re-stenciled the tail and put the wheel all back together.
We rebuild the tower. Replaced one tower leg 6X6 X12ft timber. Than rebuild the telescoping tower 4 - 6 X 6 X 16ft timbers not a easy job. With 4 new bottom cross timbers to hold the telescoping tower.

The Hummer "L" wheel was repainted and put back on the mill.
Years ago Shattuck got a Dempster Boss that was restored. We got it put up in the Red barn. It has a 6ft wood tower and platform build for it.
