I noted these images from a post card for sale on eBay which depicts the Butler windmill factory.

Thanks. It all depends if some developer could tear it down and build a box and make money. My guess would be no it's not still there.

As the post card says, if I were there I would be having a good time also! The Butler windmill Co was not the same as Butler grain bins were they? Cool pictures!

Also, not the hand crossing arm at RR tracks, you don't see those very often.

From the information i dug up the Butler windmill Co. was still in business in the early forties. Kansas Rust Buzzard my brother has two of those cross armed crossing guards in his collection one from the 1800s he has the lantern that went on top also. I'll get some pics.

Yes, I would love to see, I got an 1887 depot and a couple cabooses so its right down my alley!

It always amazes me how broad & deep the interest and knowledge of windmillers is ! and willing to share with others , THANKS guys .
I learn something every time I open these pages , now to just remember wgere in my brain it is . :roll:

The original brick building was destroyed by fire on March 26, 2015.
