A702

I acquired an Aermotor A702 with near perfect sails and an original stenciled Vane. Also a long stub tower
Some rust on one side of sheet which I think can be removed.
The bull gears were removed and hood as well. The pinion gears, crank arms and spout washer, Etc
were placed into the hood and left outside where it collected water. These parts are pretty rusted.
The pinion gears need to be replaced. The bearings are worn out.
My question is it worth replacing the bearings? I have a good complete A602 case and V spokes.
I think the sails, vane and furling mechanism is interchangeable between both models. Need to get a spring.
I like the 702 spokes set up but don't want to spend a lot of money.


I am still working on the power mill. Quite a challenge.

Yes Joe those parts Will work on your 602. I would put fhe 602 together and put the 702 on the back burner for now. My opinion" for what it's worth"" the 602 is a better machine!!! Can't wait for you to get the power mill up and running, keep us posted.
