The barrel is under a wooden floor or deck of sorts. The well pipe goes thru a hole in both, tight enough to keep dirt etc out. The well pipe has a flange of sorts around it, and the flange boles to the deck (floor). It extends up to a T with a pipe feeding the tank, and from the T goes up about a foot or two. The jet rod (sucker rod) Goes to the windmill pump pole, and goes down thru the pipe to the plunger inside the (cylinder) or PVC .I'll see if I can find a picture.

Any pictures and explanation of how to make a recirculating fountain into a stock tank would be greatly appreciated.

That's good. Leathers also have a couple different inside hole sizes.

The 2 inch PVC pipe I use to make cylinders is grey. I found out the hard way all 2 inch PVC pipe isn't the same inside Dia. Windy set me straight.

The grey pvc may be conduit. Plumbing messes with my brain. Too many different sizes for any one measurement. I do know that tubing is measured on the outside, and pipe is measure on the inside.
