Welp, finally getting around to fixing hinge mount I broke off!

Haha yea yea I know! I was giving some of my other projects some attention.

Took some fiddling but finally got it aligned right and tacked. Going to weld it fully shortly. Using 99% nickel rods

Well it on there. I did notice one small crack formed on the top... But don't see anything anywhere else. I'll do some cleaning up of the welds another day as it's now about 103* outside

I weld a bit at a time, and dont let it get so hot. It helps me to limit or end the cracking.

That's exactly what we did. Welded little bits at a time and pauses in-between each weld. Took about 5-6 hours to complete haha

It is a cold front! Haha. Past two months we have regularly been seeing close to 110. A couple of days our thermometer read 114!! Ouch!
