Yep! Will be making me a run up to the Panhandle next May. Starting at the Wasp Museum at Avenger and working my way north.

Well, while your up that way, I don't know if this does anything for you, but the last scene in the movie Castaway where Tom Hanks is at a crossroads was filmed between Pampa and Canadian. If you put 35.6339, -100.4513 into the search window on google maps it shows the location.

There's a large, my guess 20' mill I pass every time I go to and from Houston. It's behind the first national bank in Bastrop TX at the intersection of hwy 21 and hwy 71. Photos courtesy of Google maps as I haven't stopped to get a closer look yet lol

Here's a thread of her sister Samson. Haven't seen Overkill on here in some time, so don't know if he ever got it up and flying.

While i was in Texas last month my brother and I were staying in Alpine. Late the first day we drove over to Sanderson, hour & 20 minutes, trying to beat the sunset so we could see this 20 foot Samson. Tail says Zork Hardware, El Paso Texas
