Thank you for the kind greetings.
We were supposed to have a party here at home featuring Costco ribeye steaks and a beautiful 85th birthday cake.
I had saved some 10 year old wine and was looking forward to sampling that.

About 4 hours ago I received a call from my children in Edmonton saying they had both tested positive for Covid and not coming.
They were the ones that had arranged every thing. Party is rescheduled for when I return from the Trade Fair.
One can never be certain of any thing these days.

Oh my, sorry to hear that, I didn't even know covid was a thing anymore. Last I heard of it was Christmas. Wish them good luck and happy B day.

Yes it came as a shock to me. They had not contracted it when it was every where. My wife and I did not get it. I guess it will never leave
entirely. We get our booster shots every 6 months. Stay close to home.
