Sure looks like they've been shortened. I've 2 complete Dandy fans and they're not short like this one.

The sails have been 'customized'. Probably too close to a tree. lol don't trim the tree, trim the wheel haha.

It's a Challenge alright. Don't know if I would call it a Dandy though. Challenge had many steel mills around the same time. Could be an Xray. Or anyone of several.

For sure that is a Dandy hub. I came as the regular Dandy or the irrigater Dandy.

Somebody sure went to a lot of trouble to shorten the blades. Even rounded the corners. I can't imagine doing that while in the air. Yeah the Dandy long snot and brake hub are easy to spot.
