You might check in the library section under SAMSON or STOVER to see what kind of pictures are there to understand the mechanism. There were 3 or 4 different ways they had hardware hookups, but only one cable or wire going up to tie to it.

They have a show there in Sept. I'm planning a trip to Oregon then and my plans are to go if they are able to have it.

Will if you don't have it by Sept maybe I can take a picture for you. I'm planning on going by and looking even if they can't have the show. I want to explore the SE part of Washington while out there. I love to drive through the wheat fields. Been in the area once.
